Just a warning before I head off into the depths of Fry’s… if I get lost in there, contact the authorities.

That is all.

This article is a couple of weeks old, but it’s worth posting for posterity:

Pleasure Hunt: ‘Geocaching’ buccaneers pursue hidden bounty throughout Bay Area as GPS-based game catches on
(from SFGate)

I think I’ve met some of the cachers in this article. Awesome that this pastime is still going strong. I need to do more caching, I really do… I had an awesome summer last year with it. I’ve completed a few caches here and there over the past few months, but not with the frequency and passion that I used to. What better excuse to get outside than to hike to a place you’ve never really explored?

On Friday, I had a fun geeky day with Sam. I love mac geeks, I am almost always guaranteed to get along with them… and it was incredibly easy to get along with Sam (granted, he would rather have a big shiny SUV whilst I prefer a small car like a Mini Cooper, but we’ll forgive him *wink*).

After a quick bite to eat the the exotic chez Boston Market in trendy Fremont, we were well on our way to fighting traffic along the 880. Destination? The Apple Company Store, Cupertino. We hit a snag along the 880, so I took a detour along San Tomas Expressway, to give Sam a drive-by tour of a few tech companies… Creative, Cadence, Honeywell, Lockheed Martin, Sun, Intel, and of course, Nvidia.

We arrived at the Apple Campus after the scenic route through Santa Clara/San Jose/Cupertino areas… but heck, it was not a problem at all. We pulled into the parking lot at 1 Infinite Loop, the excitement building. I was here only a mere few months ago at a SVMUG meeting, but Sam had never been. It’s always more exciting when you go with a buddy anyways. :)

Wow, um… is this store dangerous, or what? I scored myself a really nice embroidered Antigua sweatshirt, and Sam, well, he just plain scored, haha. Like a kid in a candy store, I tell ya. Good times.

We’re trying to plan a walk on the Golden Gate bridge next Thursday… so if anyone else is game, let me know!

I’d like to wish a Happy Birthday to my Beeg Seester!

It only seems like the other day when mom dressed us alike every day. Was it just to be cute, or was it simply just easier?

…Thank goodness those days are over. ;)
